HOME Manager

The Board of HOME in Queanbeyan (HOME) is delighted to announce the appointment of Anne Pratt to the newly created position of HOME Manager. Anne brings a great mix of passion, experience and expertise to the role. For the past 10 years she has been involved in working with people with mental illness and those suffering homelessness. She has also been one of the key drivers of the HOME initiative, including being a founding board member.

Prior to her appointment she was Coordinator of St Benedict’s Community Centre in Queanbeyan, which provides relational support to people with mental illness, the homeless and people with drug and alcohol issues. Anne’s involvement in mental health follows a stint at a doctor’s surgery and also living with her husband who lived with the illness for about 15 years.

Anne’s immediate priorities are to work with the Board to steer HOME through the construction phase, drive ongoing community consultation, education and fundraising efforts, and ensure everything is in place to welcome the first residents in 2010.
